ENGL 430 British Victorian Literature

Students enrolled in Victorian Literature study literature from the Victorian Era, 1830-1901. This includes works of writers such as Dickens, Carlyle, George Eliot, the Brontes, the Brownings, Tennyson, Arnold, and Hardy. Other period writers may also be examined. Pre-requisites: ENGL 250 - Masterpieces of British Literature and ENGL 120 - College Composition II or ENGL 121H - Honors Composition II. This course is part of the university's Writing Across the Curriculum/Writing in the Disciplines program.
