HPER 215 Survey of Human Anatomy

A study of applied human anatomy with emphasis on physical activity. The student will learn basic musculoskeletal function with a focus on skeletal structure, musculature and neurological capabilities. Laboratory exercises are included in this course. The labs, which are designed to complement and reinforce the lecture, will include examination of skeletons, individual bones and computer simulation. Movement of major joints will also be explored.
