ENGL 425 British Romantic Literature
British Romantic Literature emphasizes the work of the six great writers of the Romantic Period, 1785-1830. This includes Blake, Wordsworth, Coleridge, Keats, Byron, and Percy Shelley. The works of Wollstonecraft, Mary Robinson, De Quincey, and other period writers may also be examined. Pre-requisite: ENGL 250 - Masterpieces of British Literature and ENGL 120 - College Composition II or ENGL 121H - Honors Composition II. This course is part of the university's Writing Across the Curriculum/Writing in the Disciplines program.
