BIOL 315 Genetics
An introduction to transmission genetics, molecular genetics, genomics, epigenetics and population genetics. Lecture and laboratories will focus on learning the critical thinking skills and common laboratory procedures and software for phenotyping and genotyping. Prerequisites: BIOL 150/BIOL 150L - General Biology I and Lab and CHEM 122/CHEM 122L - General Chemistry II and Lab, ENGL 120 - College Composition II or ENGL 121H - Honors Composition II. Letter Grade. This course is part of the university's Writing Across the Curriculum/Writing in the Disciplines program. Spring. Course fees required.
