ELED 498B Teaching in the Elementary School: Early Childhood

A 165 hour block of supervised teaching in kindergarten or early childhood education. Students will teach in a kindergarten or early childhood setting full days for six weeks. Prerequisites: Admission to Teacher Education, EC 310 - Introduction to Early Childhood Education, EC 313 - Language and Literature in Early Childhood, EC 323 - Observation and Assessment in Early Childhood, EC 324 - Early Childhood Curriculum, Methods, and Materials, and satisfactory completion of portfolio review. Fall, Spring. Course fee required.
