PSYC 420 Drugs, the Brain and Behavior
This course covers the characteristics and mechanisms underlying the major classes of psychotherapeutics and drugs of abuse (e.g., alcohol, stimulants, depressants). The primary focus of the course is the biological and physiological basis of drugs and their effect on the brain and human behavior. Prerequisite: PSYC 111 - Introduction to Psychology. Spring, even years.
