NURS 215 Introduction to Pharmacology
This foundational course in pharmacology is designed for nursing students to develop a comprehensive understanding of the principles of drug action and the therapeutic use of medications. Students will explore the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of various drug classes, including their mechanisms of action, side effects, contraindications, and interactions. Emphasis will be placed on clinical applications utilizing the skills lab. Students will apply their knowledge in real-world nursing scenarios. Admission to the PN Certificate program. Spring.
