CSCI 243 Wireless and Mobile Security

This course explores vulnerabilities and countermeasures in wireless and mobile environments. Topics include Wi-Fi security protocols (WEP, WPA2, WPA3), Bluetooth security, 4G/5G threats, mobile OS vulnerabilities (Android, iOS), SIM security, and IoT device protection. Students perform hands-on labs to analyze wireless traffic and secure mobile platforms. By the end, students can evaluate and defend mobile systems against common attacks.
