CSCI 389 Network and Security - Applications

This course emphasizes applied security practices for protecting networked environments. Topics include firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), honeypots, VPNs, proxy servers, and network monitoring tools. Students use industry-standard tools to design, configure, and monitor secure networks. The course provides strong practical skills in implementing defensive security controls.
