FIN 306 Blockchain Technology for Business

This course provides an overview of blockchain technology and its applications in financial markets and business. Topics include distributed ledgers, smart contracts, cryptocurrencies, tokenization of assets, and regulatory and ethical issues. Students will examine real-world use cases of blockchain in payments, trading, supply chain, and digital identity, with a focus on how these innovations disrupt traditional financial institutions.
