FIRE 402 Community Risk Reduction for Fire & Emergency Services

This course provides a comprehensive study of Community Risk Reduction (CRR) as a modern and essential strategy in fire and emergency services. Students will explore risk identification, community analysis, prevention strategies, public education, code enforcement, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Students will learn to gather and interpret data, develop targeted CRR initiatives, and implement risk-reduction programs designed to improve life safety and community resilience.
