FIRE 411 Training Management Program
This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of how fire and emergency services training programs are developed, delivered, managed, and evaluated. Emphasis is placed on instructional system design, training program accreditation, curriculum development, instructor supervision, resource allocation, training safety, documentation standards, and the integration of technology into modern training programs. Students will examine best practices for leading a training division, managing instructors, coordinating multi-agency training, and ensuring compliance with NFPA standards, ISO training requirements, and applicable state or local regulations. The course prepares future company officers, training captains, and administrative personnel to design and manage high-quality, compliant, and outcome-driven training programs.
