FIRE 412 Fire Officer I

This course prepares students to function as a first-line fire officer and aligns with the required knowledge and skills of NFPA 1021 Fire Officer I. Emphasis is placed on supervisory responsibility, incident command basics, personnel management, policy enforcement, communication, fireground leadership, report writing, training delivery, and initial fire investigations. Learners will complete task-based assignments to demonstrate competency and prepare for Fire Officer I certification testing.
