NURS 300 Pathopharmacology I
Pathopharmacology I (3 credits lecture and 1 credit lab) is the first of two courses that focuses on pathophysiology and pharmacology concepts associated with common diseases and health issues. The course introduces pharmacological agents that relate to altered physiology taught in this semester. Students will learn basic pharmacological principles as well as mechanisms of action, nursing considerations, and adverse effects of selected medications. The course will include classroom and laboratory experiences.
