NURS 331 Population Health

Population Health (3 credits lecture) focuses on community and population health principles as they are applied across a variety of community-based settings in collaboration with diverse groups. Social determinants of health, health disparities, and health policies are analyzed. Health promotion and disease prevention strategies are applied to individuals and populations to identify needs. Students use community assessment, disease prevention, and health promotion to plan, implement, and evaluate interventions for populations in the community.
