NURS 498C Family Nursing Concepts Clinical
In Family Nursing Concepts Clinical (2 credits of clinical/lab), in conjunction with NURS 415, students apply advanced nursing knowledge related to care of the family during childbearing (including pregnancy/prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum care) and application of pediatric nursing concepts is considered with inclusion of growth and development and health promotion. Students learn to apply the nursing process, prioritize care, and develop clinical reasoning skills for the family.
