MATH 277 Mathematics for Elementary Teachers

A mathematics content course for prospective elementary teachers that integrates the understanding of content learning of arithmetic processes. Topics include problem-solving, numeration systems, real numbers, elementary number theory, and operations on whole numbers. Appropriate use of calculators, computers and manipulatives are used in the course. This course is part of the elementary methods block in fall. Pre-requisite: MATH 103 - College Algebra. Fall.
