PSYC 370 Abnormal Psychology

The course traces historical perspectives but focuses on current views of psychopathology. Material is presented from the perspective of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual and includes symptoms, diagnostic criteria, characteristics, treatment, and etiology of each major disorder. Prerequisite: PSYC 111 - Introduction to Psychology. Sophomore standing or above only.  Every Fall, Spring even years only.

for the Sophomore request- it has been in my experience (every semester for the last 9 years)- that ~90% of Freshman's taking this course get an F or at best a D.
