Why should you pursue an Associate in Science Degree - Geology Option?
The Associate in Science degree in geology is for students interested in careers such as a geology research associate, quality control inspector, cartography assistant, construction estimator, or construction office manager. It can also be used as a starting point to transfer to the Bachelor of Science in geology program after completion of the associate degree.

Requirements
General Education Courses
Core Curriculum
In order to graduate, a minimum 2.30 cumulative science GPA is required in fulfillment of a natural science degree or minor as well as ENGL 110, ENGL 120, and COMM 110.
One of the above courses fulfills the General Education Natural Science Requirement.
Geology Option Requirements
Choose three lab/lecture combinations or MATH courses from the following (12 Credits):

GEOL 311 and PHYS 211/PHYS 211L are offered Fall, Odd Years.
Fourth Semester
Students should select at least three lecture/lab combinations from the courses below:
