BIOL 375 Environmental Economics, Law and Public Policy
Students in this course will be introduced to environmental decision-making scenarios using case studies, legislation, state and federal law and policy. This course will also introduce the students to the tools and concepts used by economists to understand environmental problems and the economic impact of environmental pollution and other problems. This course is intended for environmental health, environmental science, and science education majors and is not applicable to biology majors or minors. Prerequisite: 3 hours of ECON or POLS coursework. Spring, even years. Cross-listed with POLS 375.
