Online ADRN to BSN Completion Program
Upon completion of the BSN program, the student will:
- Develop an individualized plan of care by effectively utilizing the nursing process. Implement the nursing process.
- Recognize the patient and/or family as the source of control and partner when implementing the nursing process with respect for patient’s and family’s preferences, values, and needs.
- Function effectively within nursing and inter-professional teams, fostering open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making to achieve quality patient care and minimize risk.
- Collect data to monitor the outcomes of care processes to continuously improve the quality and safety of health care systems.
- Arrange care to minimize the risk of harm to patients and providers through both system effectiveness and individual performance.
- Integrate information and technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decision making.
REQUIRES PRIOR ADRN DEGREE
Entry into this program requires an ADRN degree and a current nursing RN License. Program assumes student will meet General Education requirements for Bachelor's Degree.The ADRN to BSN Completion Program includes and builds upon the general education, interdisciplinary, and nursing course requirements of the student's prior ADRN, ADN-RN and/or Diploma Program.
Students must earn a grade of "C" or higher in each of the following Interdisciplinary and Nursing courses listed below:
