BIOL 112 Exploring Human Health in Our Environment

This course investigates the environmental conditions that are the cause of human disease or injury. It covers aspects of the natural and human built environment that may affect human health. The course introduces students to both physical and biological sciences to build an understanding of the relationships between disease prevention, public health and sanitation and how advances in these areas have improved human life. The course includes a two hour lab once per week that will convey the practical application of human disease prevention. Offered on demand.
