BIOL 454 Plant Physiology

This class is designed to introduce students to contemporary experimental plant biology. The emphasis is on the recent molecular advances in the fields of plant physiology, biochemistry, development, adaptation and evolution. The key aspects of plant functioning from seed to seed will be highlighted. This class includes a laboratory component. Prerequisite: BIOL 150/BIOL 150L - General Biology I and Lab and BIOL 254 - Introduction to Botany and ENGL 120 - College Composition II or ENGL 121H - Honors Composition II. This course is part of the university's Writing Across the Curriculum/Writing in the Disciplines program. Spring, odd years.
