ENGL 350 Themes in American Literature

This advanced course in American Literature considers one or more themes of importance in American letters. Recent topics have included: revenge, war, and the bestselling novel. Students should expect to complete independent research leading to writing projects and discussions. Prerequisites: ENGL 260 - Masterpieces of American Literature I and ENGL 120 - College Composition II or ENGL 121H - Honors Composition II. This course is part of the university's Writing Across the Curriculum/Writing in the Disciplines program.  Alternates every odd Spring with ENGL 355.
