ART 311 Professional Practices

Information and instruction for the professional artist. Includes preparation of portfolio, slides, artist statement, resume, letters of application, and professional displays. Also explores obtaining fellowships, residences and grants. Prerequisite: ENGL 120 - College Composition II or ENGL 121H - Honors Composition II. This course is part of the university's Writing Across the Curriculum/Writing in the Disciplines program. Fall.
