BADM 357 Visual Merchandising, Design, and Storytelling

Skill development in the creation of showroom or retail store window/interior displays that sell merchandise.  Analysis of different approaches and methods for effectiveness in actual retail settings.  Includes display principles of balance, color and focal point statements. Study of the basic techniques of store planning, mannequin dressing, alternate form design, and display space conceptualization and implementation. Prerequisite: MRKT 301 - Principles of Marketing.
