ECON 351 International Political Economy

International Political Economy (IPE) brings together both international politics and international economics in interdisciplinary study. In a period of globalization, this raises the question of how we pursue our national interest in an increasingly interdependent world. This course will focus on the primary theoretical perspectives, international financial institutions, and key issues in IPE such as monetary relations, financial crises, and trade.
