Student Learning Outcomes
Agricultural Sales and Service graduates will be able to demonstrate a/an:
- Basic proficiency in a wide range of specific approved practices in Agricultural Business Management, Equine Management, Equine Training, or Technology in Agriculture. (This learning outcome directly addresses Institutional Learning Outcomes II, III, and VI.)
- Basic proficiency in the use of financial and GIS computer software. (This learning outcome directly addresses Institutional Learning Outcomes II, III, and VI.)
- Ability to develop and implement a herd health program and/or a crop rotational plan for production agriculture. (This learning outcome directly addresses Institutional Learning Outcomes II, III,IV, and VI.)
- Ability to develop and use the newest marketing and management tools to make more effective marketing and management decisions. (This learning outcome directly addresses Institutional Learning Outcomes I, II, III, V, and VI.)
- Basic understanding of specific livestock and farm production practices of the Northern Great Plains. (This learning outcome directly addresses Institutional Learning Outcomes I, II, V, and VI.)

Students must select and complete at least one option (Agricultural Business Management, Equine Management, Equine Training or Technology in Agriculture) to complete the Associate of Science degree in Agricultural Sales and Service.
