GDES 250 Typography

The study of letterforms, type design and classification, proportion, and hierarchy. Emphasizes creating original type variations and form manipulation. Students focus on the details of page composition and the relationship of space to clarity, legibility and aesthetics. Pre-requisites: ART 130 - Drawing I, GDES 241 - Graphic Design I. Spring odd years. Course fee required.
