ENGL 455 Studies in Major British Writers

This advanced course British Literature considers one or more writers of significance in British letters. Writers may  include Chaucer, Shakespeare, Jane Austen, and James Joyce. Students should expect to complete independent research leading to writing projects and discussions. Prerequisites: ENGL 250 - Masterpieces of British Literature and ENGL 120 - College Composition II or ENGL 121H - Honors Composition II. This course is part of the university's Writing Across the Curriculum/Writing in the Disciplines program. Alternates every even Fall with ENGL 450.
