EDUC 518 Teaching and Learning in the Elementary Classroom

This course focuses on research-based teaching that fosters the joint acquisition of new knowledge in elementary education students. Teaching strategies that promote learning as an active and constructive process in which students participate in their own learning, such as inquiry-based learning, convergent and divergent thinking, and experiential learning.
