Why should you pursue an Information Technology Certificate?

While on-the-job learning is certainly beneficial in the field of IT support and management, the coursework required for the Information Technology Certificate will allow the student to better understand the concepts and framework that lie beneath the surface-level. 

The coursework in the Information Technology Certificate will allow students to increase familiarity with a variety of desktop software that is commonly used in most organizations.  The coursework will also allow students to better understand the workings of operating systems, the interaction between hardware and software, networking systems, digital security, and managing a system by creating lines of code.
